SHOUT! ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our online gaming platform. Please read this policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data.
The personal information handler responsible for the processing described in this Policy is Entient, Inc. (株式会社エンティエント), the entity identified in Section 12 below.
2. Information We Collect

- In-game progress and achievements
- Player statistics and performance data
- Character customization choices
- Social interactions within the Game
2.2 Technical Information
- IP address and device information
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Game client logs and error reports
2.3 Payment and Purchase Information
- The last four digits of your credit/debit card and the card brand (we do not store full card numbers)
- Payment method type (credit card, electronic money, carrier billing, etc.)
- Distribution platform or payment provider transaction IDs and authorization codes
- Billing address or country, where required by the distribution platform or payment provider, or for tax purposes
- Purchase history (products, prices, dates, currency, refunds, chargebacks)
- Receipts, invoices, and tax documents
Full card details are entered directly into screens operated by the distribution platform or payment provider, and are not accessible to or stored by us. We receive only the limited data necessary for fulfillment, fraud prevention, accounting, and customer support.
2.4 Fraud Detection and Security Information
- IP address and approximate geolocation associated with purchase attempts
- Device fingerprint and browser characteristics
- Velocity signals (timing, frequency, and amount of purchases)
- Risk and anomaly signals provided by distribution platforms, payment providers, or fraud-prevention vendors

- LINE user ID or similar identifier
- Display name
- Profile image URL
- Status message (if available)
- Language or locale settings
- Email address (if you consent to provide it)
- Friendship status with our official account (if applicable)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for:
- Providing and maintaining the Game services
- Processing purchases, refunds, and chargebacks
- Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized purchases
- Improving gameplay experience and features
- Developing, training, and improving the accuracy of the AI models used in the Service
- Communicating updates and announcements
- Issuing receipts and complying with tax and accounting obligations
- Complying with legal obligations
3.1 AI Model Training
We may use your Submissions (lyrics, audio, images, and the like), your Output, and information about your use of the Service to develop, train and fine-tune, and improve the accuracy of the AI models used in the Service.
The third-party services we send Submissions to in order to provide the song generation feature may also use those Submissions to improve their own services or train their own models. How those providers handle the data is governed by their own privacy policies and terms — see Section 4.3.
When we use data for training, we endeavour to exclude names, contact details, and other information that directly identifies you from the training set. For requests concerning this use, please refer to the rights in Section 6 and contact the desk in Section 12.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party services that help operate the Game (cloud hosting, analytics, customer support tooling, error monitoring)
- Distribution Platforms and Payment Providers: See Section 4.2
- Generative AI Services: To provide the song generation feature. See Section 4.3
- Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Partners: With your consent for collaborative features
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4.1 Information Acquired via LINE Mini App
When you use the Service via LINE Mini App, with your consent, the following personal information is provided to us by the LINE Mini App provider. We receive this information and use it to provide and operate the Service.
- Provider: LINE Mini App provider
- Recipient: Us (Entient, Inc.)
- Information acquired: LINE user ID or similar identifier, display name, profile image URL, status message (if available), language or locale settings, email address (if you consent to provide it), and friendship status with our official account (if applicable)
- Timing of acquisition: When you first log in and consent to provide information; updated information may be acquired when you log in again or update your LINE profile.
- Purpose of use: To provide and operate the Service, user authentication, identity verification, service improvement, and communications regarding operations.
4.2 Distribution Platforms and Payment Providers
Payments for the Service are handled through distribution platforms and payment providers. You make payments to those operators rather than to us; each operator processes the payment and then shares with us, to the extent necessary for our operations, the relevant transaction data (transaction ID, amount, product purchased, payment status, etc.). Each operator handles your personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms of service.
- LINE Mini App in-app billing — When you use the Service inside the LINE platform, payment is handled by the LINE Mini App billing function. For information about how data tied to your LINE account is shared with us, see also Section 4.1.
- GMO game platform coin billing — When you use the Service on a GMO-operated game platform, you purchase (recharge) platform coins from GMO and spend those coins within the Service. Payment for coin purchases is processed by GMO; we receive transaction completion notifications and the information necessary to credit and consume coins within the Service.
- Other distribution platforms or payment providers may be displayed and identified at the checkout screen for the relevant payment method.
4.3 Generative AI Services
When you use the song generation feature, your Submissions (lyrics, audio, images, and the like) are sent to third-party services such as Mureka for processing. Beyond that processing, those providers may use Submissions to improve their own services or train their own models.
How those providers handle the data is governed by their own privacy policies and terms; links are listed in Section 11 of the Terms of Service. Please do not include other people's personal information, or anything else you do not have the right to provide, in your Submissions.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
- Regular security audits and assessments
- Access controls and authentication measures
- Card and other payment credentials are not handled by our systems; they are processed securely by the distribution platforms or payment providers
However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data we hold
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account
- Opt-out of marketing communications
6.1 Rights of Users in Japan under the APPI
If you are located in Japan, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the "APPI") may grant you the following rights with respect to retained personal data:
- Disclosure (notification of purposes of use; disclosure of retained personal data)
- Correction, addition, or deletion of inaccurate retained personal data
- Cessation of use, erasure, or cessation of third-party provision
- Disclosure of records of third-party provision

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

7.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics tool provided by Google LLC, to analyze usage of this website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about visitors, but does not include personally identifying information. Information collected is used by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy for purposes Google determines.
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or disable cookies in your browser settings.
For visitors from the EU, EEA, and the UK, we display a cookie consent banner on your first visit and enable Google Analytics only if you consent. For visitors from other regions (including Japan), this Privacy Policy serves as notice of our use of Google Analytics.
8. Children's Privacy
SHOUT! is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Japan, including the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers, distribution platforms, payment providers, cloud infrastructure providers, and analytics vendors operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those of Japan.
For users in Japan, we comply with Article 28 of the APPI when transferring personal data outside Japan by:
- Selecting transferees that maintain personal-information-protection systems substantially equivalent to those required under the APPI; and/or
- Entering into appropriate contractual arrangements (such as standard contractual clauses) and implementing organizational and technical safeguards

10. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to fulfill our legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Indicative retention periods are:
- Account data: while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to prevent fraud and resolve disputes
- Transaction and tax records: at least seven (7) years where required by Japanese tax law, and longer where required by other applicable law
- Marketing communications data: until you opt out, then deleted within a reasonable period
- Fraud-prevention logs: retained for a period appropriate to detect and investigate ongoing abuse, typically up to two (2) years
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will publish the updated content and its effective date on this page, or by another appropriate means, before that date arrives.
Where a change to our purposes of use requires your consent under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, we will obtain that consent in advance.
